How to place a bid or use Buy Now

You can win bond cleaning jobs on Bond Back by bidding on an auction or by using Buy Now when the lister has set a fixed price. Here's how both work.

Placing a bid (auction)

Open a listing that has a reserve (and optionally a Buy Now price).
Review the property details, photos, move-out date, and any special instructions.
Click Place bid (or Bid).
Enter your bid amount in dollars. Your bid must be at or above the current lowest bid (or the reserve if no bids yet). You may add a short bid note with your offer (not a live chat — listers compare bids first).
Submit — The lister sees your bid along with others. They choose which cleaner to accept; it's not automatic for the lowest bid.

Tips for bidding:

Bid what the job is worth to you: size, location, condition, and your travel/time. Undercutting too much can hurt your margins; overbidding may mean you don't win.
Use your bid note to mention bond-clean experience and availability. Job chat opens for both sides after the lister pays & starts the job (in progress).

Using Buy Now

If the listing has a Buy Now price and you're happy with that amount, click Buy Now (or Accept at that price).
The job is created immediately; no need to wait for the auction to end. Payment is held in escrow until the lister approves completion.
Use Buy Now when the price fits your rates and you want to lock in the job without competing on bids.

After you bid or Buy Now

If the lister accepts your bid (or you used Buy Now), you'll get a notification and a job will appear in your dashboard. Job chat opens after the lister pays & starts the job (in progress) so you can arrange access and the clean on-platform.
If someone else is chosen, you can keep browsing and bidding on other listings.
