How to update my ABN or profile details
Keeping your profile and ABN (if you're a cleaner or business) up to date helps listers trust you and ensures payments and tax records are correct. Here's how to update them on Bond Back.
Where to update profile and ABN
- Go to Settings, Profile, or Account in the app or website.
- You'll see sections for Personal details, Cleaner profile (if you have the cleaner role), and ABN (often under business or account details).
What you can update
- ABN — If you're cleaning as a business or sole trader, enter or correct your Australian Business Number. This may be used for payouts and tax documentation. Double-check the number; an invalid ABN can delay payouts.
- Name / business name — So listers and support see the right name.
- Contact — Phone and email. Keep these current so listers and Bond Back can reach you.
- Address / suburb / postcode — Used for "jobs near you" and travel radius. Updating these helps you see relevant listings.
- Cleaner-specific: Travel radius (max km), experience, bio, equipment, portfolio photos. The more complete this is, the better listers can evaluate your bids.
- Lister-specific: Suburb and contact so cleaners can see where the job is and how to reach you.
Saving changes
- After editing, click Save or Update profile. Changes are applied immediately. You don't need to re-verify your email unless you change it (and we send a new verification).
Tips
- ABN — If you don't have an ABN, you can often leave it blank or select "No ABN" and provide a declaration if required by the platform. Check the profile or payments section for your region's rules.
- Privacy — Only the details needed for the marketplace (e.g. suburb, name, cleaner profile) are visible to other users; sensitive data is kept according to our privacy policy.
